    Description

    Vintage lithograph of English Setter by Alpnarly Lyster and probably printed by C. Moss, c. 1938 (matte covers some of the printing company information in lower right corner). “Bates Art Industries” is stamped or printed on paper backing. Cream-colored wood frame measures approximately 7 5/8" wide and 9 5/8" high. Print appears to be in excellent condition, although it has not been examined outside of frame.  Vintage frame appears to be in very good condition with some wear consistent with age, such as finish worn off (please see photos).  Paper backing is in good condition, although there are some indentations and small punctures or tears in upper and lower right corners (please see photos). Light stains on left side and lower left corner of matte. Some spots on inside of glass and dirt, dust, and/or debris particles between inside of glass and matte and print.
