Up for sale is a used Peak Performance 6" Orbital Polishing unit. The unit is a few years old and was seldom used.
When it was used, however, it wasn't used with the proper attachments (i.e. bonnet or terry cloth covers) on the foam polishing pad.
Instead it was used only with the polishing pad itself, which resulted in some highly  unwanted warpage on the Styrofoam-like pad.
So obviously, there is some wax and/or polishing compound buildup on this pad as well as a slight tear on it, for there was also a mistaken assumption that this pad was removable (i.e. velcro'ed onto the base of the unit) but it isn't.
Additionally, there was some stickiness (or sticky gunk residue) on the top of the unit, so a cleanup attempt was made using alcohol, which resulted in some black finish loss, and now the top of the unit resembles the xenomorph creature from the popular Alien movie franchise.
Anyways, if you're willing to look past the mere cosmetic blemishes on this unit and instead
focus on the unit itself, then this may be the ideal polisher for you.
Also, be aware that this unit comes in its original box which exhibits signs of heavy wear on it.
The original bilingual manual (Spanish/English) is also included. It, too, exhibits some signs of wear on it; specifically on the staples that hold it together, which appear to have some rust on them.
Also included is the the original pack of three bonnets that originally came with the unit. This pack has not been opened and is still sealed in its original factory plastic packaging.
I'm selling the unit as is. Due to these cosmetic blemishes, I cannot guarantee that the unit will work flawlessly mainly because of its age and bit of operational mileage.
