Description

You are bidding on a page from a scarce book, published in the 1880s. It depicts two hunters at the edge of a hay field with their lovely setter dogs.
The caption reads: "The Setter." Beneath it is a poem that reads:
"But if the shady woods my cares employ,
In quest of feather'd game my spaniels beat,
Puzzling the entangled copse, and from the brake
Push forth the whirring pheasant."
The page is in excellent condition. The page size is approx. 6.5 x 10 inches and the actual image size (without margins) is approx.5 x 5.5 inches. There is text on the page that could be trimmed out if framed. THere is text on the back that does not show through the paper.
This is GENUINE antique/vintage item. It is not a modern reproduction.
I can combine multiple in purchases in one package. Just ask!
