You are bidding on a large, very rare original antique print from an 1870s French illustrated journal.
It depicts a beautiful English setter and an English pointer in full point on pheasant (unseen). The hunter can be seen over the hill. In the distance is another hunter and his dog.
It is very large (folio size), measuring approximately 10.5 x 14.5 inches (26.5 x 36.5 cm). The picture fills most of the page, with a French caption below.
The caption reads: sur des perdrix qui piétent
which roughly translates to: Hunting pheasant
The page is in excellent condition for its age.
There is text/photos on the back of the print.
